What We Offer
We specialise in two types of outdoor event structures:

Stretch Tents – versatile, flexible, and modern. Inspired by Bedouin design, they can be shaped to fit almost any space, making them perfect for garden parties, weddings, festivals, and urban bar shelters.

Sailcloth Marquees – elegant, timeless, and light-filled. With ivory canvas and timber poles, they create bright, romantic spaces that feel right at home in the Yorkshire countryside.
Both options are fully weatherproof, adaptable, and designed to bring people together under canvas.
Why “Empty Quarter Events”?
The name isn’t just a label - it’s a story. In 2012, founders Lukas and Abbey spent years living and working in the Middle East, where they discovered the Rub’ al Khali - also known as the “Empty Quarter,” the largest uninterrupted sand desert in the world. To them, it represented a place of both vast emptiness and endless possibility.
That spirit of movement and adventure sits at the heart of Empty Quarter Events. We’ve built our company on a #FollowTheSeason ethos, operating between the UK and UAE to bring events to life across continents. Our background as expats, explorers, and purveyors of alternative experiences shapes everything we do - from festival fields in Yorkshire to winter activations in Dubai.
